the object in the plastic bag

this is actually an essay i made for my english class but i decided to share it here since i actually like it which is a first for me. (she better not give me a B!)

As much as I wanted my trip to be fun. Being with just my parents in Hawaii, and not even my sister with me wasn't that joyful. Like any other day I spent the morning on the beach. Digging bottomless holes in sand until I reached water, but instead of reaching water I found an object in a black plastic bag. I just couldn't fight my urge to open it, Curiosity killed the cat. Inside it was an old looking letter dating from 2005. 

I didn't believe it before reading it. The letter was from a woman to her only child. The woman said she was afraid to die before her child knows how much she loves him. And that she never meant to do what she did. I didn't understand what she meant. I decided to search for her. Unfortunately she did pass away and I found her son instead. I gave the letter to him and apologized for reading it. He offered me tea and explained everything. His mom left him to an orphanage when he was just 6 years old. He always had this idea in his head that she hated him so much that she didn't want him anymore. That’s why the letter brought tears to his eyes.

I never once thought that I may help someone in a way that only happens in movies. I defiantly won't forget what happened and it will be one of the stories that I'll tell my grandchildren a hundred times while they're not even listening.

okay so re-reading that now made me realize how awesome it is...yeah ima genius ;)

The Girl Next Door (a love story)

  He races home right after school  everyday because it's  the only time he can talk to her. he sees her everyday but he never  really have the courage to talk to her. 

But every time he see her climb the stairs  and  enter the apartment across from him he can't help the butterflies  in his stomach. With her long brown hair so soft that you can't fight  the urge to touch it. Her slim body so fragile that you want to take  her in your arms and protect her from any harm. Make-up is useless against  Her natural strawberry red cheeks. Her beautiful deep  green eyes which sparkle when she smiles.  

 He sees her with her friends, Talking and smiling. 
Oh how he wishes  he's the reason for that smile, just like old days. 

Everything was so  simple then. They were simply inseparable.  Always together. You  never see one without the other. Just like peanut butter and jelly. In fact they called each other by that. she was the jelly of course he was the peanut butter. Which he hated at the time . But now he similes as he remember how she said it with that smile of her's that can melt hearts.

He stand's up determined that tomorrow is the day. he will finally talk to her.

She sits at the window seat watching him. sighing and wondering when will he ever talk to her again. she loves seeing him everyday when she comes back from school but he never says anything more then a "hi" or an awkward smile.

Now she sits and stare at him. his eyes barely shown under his silky black hair. when did he get so tall. if she hugs him she will surely hear his heart beating. she feels a chill down her spine, she dismisses the idea as impossible.

When she sees him with his only friend she wonders. when did he become so quiet not like old times when he always teased her because she believes about anything. She  missed old times. he smiles while he's talking to his friend.She feels butterflies in her stomach and her face flush bright red.

While laying on bed a thought flashes through her mind they once promised that they will stay together forever. She feels her heart ache. 

She sits up in bed takes a pen from her drawer and writes "TALK TO HIM!!" across her To Do list.

As soon as he finishes break feast he head for the door.

She's in front of his door but she hesitates before knocking on his door.

He opens his door. as soon as he sees her he loses all his senses. He opens his arms and take her in his embrace.
