Crash Into You by Katie McGarry

(5/5) stars

If you don't already know, Crash Into You is the third companion novel in the Pushing the Limits series. There's basically two main characters in each book; Pushing The Limits: Echo and Noah , Dare You To: Beth and Ryan , and Crash Into You: Rachel and Isaiah.
I read the first two before I started reviewing here and I gave:

Pushing the Limits: 5 stars. I absolutely loved it!

And Dare You To: 4 stars and it's partially because I hated Beth from Pushing the Limits (she was a side character aka: Noah's sister/best friend)

As for Crash Into You...

I apologize to any gif haters, they just describe it better than the same lines with just words.

“I’m still not good enough for a girl like her, but she’s back in my life and she needs someone to protect her. I’ll fill the role and absorb as much of her light as I can before she leaves me behind in the darkness.”

Like Dare You To, which I guiltily judged from the start due to my hate for Beth, I judged Crash Into You before reading it by my LOVE for Isaiah! I loved him in Pushing The Limits (also Noah's best friend) and I felt so bad for him in Dare You To, so of course I did a happy dance when I heard about the book that he's the main character in! And if Crash Into you did anything, it made me ADORE Isaiah even more. Unlike Beth, who has a hard life, so she chooses to make punching bags out of people who didn't do anything to her (she changes though), Isaiah still possesses the kindest heart, even though he has a hard life too.

“I can’t give you the world, Rachel, but I’ll give you all I got.”

Characters :

Rachel:

I really liked Rachel. There were times when she was indeed stupid, but it didn't made me hate her. Plus, she and Isaiah are adorable together!

West and Ethan :

If you read any of my previous reviews you must know about my fascination with side characters. There must be (a) side character(s) that I love in stories. This time, they're Ethan and West. Ethan is Rachel's twin brother and West is also her brother. I loved Ethan SO much! He's so protective (all her brothers are, actually) but still he's adorable. I hope there'll be a book for him. West is a playboy with women and a guy to run for you life from with guys. He's the main character along with a girl (I don't know her name) in Take Me On (the fourth book) and I'm sure I'm going to like, if not love, him.

Gavin and Jack:

Also Rachel's brothers. Again overprotective. I didn't really love them at first, but as I got to know their family backstories, I felt bad for them and now I like them. Although Jack barely talked through out the story.

Logan:

Logan also was a side character in Dare You To and I guess he had a bigger role than in Crash Into You? But don't quote me on that. Although I do feel like I liked him a lot more in Crash Into You, he has this wild personality. He'd basically do anything that involves adrenaline rush in it!

Isaiah:

You already know how much I love him, but let me tell you about his personality. Isaiah at first glance is that tattooed punk, but inside he's the kindest person, but he makes people believe he's dangerous. (which he actually is if someone messes with someone he cares about. Exactly my type of guy!) Let me stop here to avoid any more fangirling.

“The first moment I saw him, the night people clamored over each

other to step out of his way, I was frightened. The guy with earrings
and tattoos and an energy radiating danger. Now-inside and out-all I  see is beauty.'''

So overall, Crash Into You, is a great read full of romance , adorable scenes (I literally stopped a couple of times in the middle just to say to anyone next me who has no idea what i'm even reading "He's so cute!" , "OMG! who says that!?" or "I love them!") and you better start it early because otherwise, I doubt you would get any sleep.

Question of the day :

have you read any of pushing the limits series or do you feel like reading them now? let us know !

Praise from Kattie McGarry for my review !
